Camden Saves £3million with OPENRevenues

IBS OPENSystems has won a five year contract (with the option of a two year extension) with Camden council to provide the OPENRevenues product.

Over the life of the contract, IBS OPENSystems' OPENRevenues solution will deliver over £3 million pounds of savings for Camden Council, while also allowing real time exchange of information between the revenues and benefits departments for the first time.

The move is part of the council's ongoing efficiency drive, which aims to make efficiency savings worth £13.7 million pounds in this financial year alone - equivalent to £146 for every home in the borough.

Cllr Ralph Scott, Executive Member for Resources, said:

"This is a win-win for Camden residents. By investing in new technology we're making it easier to collect benefits or pay bills, and we're saving £3 million for Camden taxpayers into the bargain."
